A Busload of Curiosity: Girl Scouts at the Falls

We Love Student Tours at Niagara. At Go Niagara Tours, we’ve had the privilege of showing thousands of students the wonder of Niagara Falls over the years—from high school classes and college freshmen to international visitors seeing the Falls for the first time.

But yesterday?

Yesterday reminded us exactly why we love what we do.Yesterday, we welcomed a busload of Girl Scouts—dozens of bright, curious, excited young women from across Illinois. They were full of questions, full of energy, and full of awe.

From the moment the tour started, they were engaged:

  • Pointing at the mist rising from the Gorge

  • Asking about the daredevils who went over the Falls in barrels

  • And yes—posing for plenty of selfies with ponchos flapping in the wind

They tackled the Cave of the Winds like true explorers, braving the Hurricane Deck and shouting over the roar of the water. Some said it was the most exciting thing they’d ever done. Others just screamed—and then laughed all the way back to the bus.

More Than a Tour—A First Chapter

There’s something magical about being part of a student’s first big adventure. For many of these Girl Scouts, this was:

  • Their first time out of state

  • Their first time seeing a natural wonder

  • Or even their first time on a trip without parents

That matters. That sticks. That’s the kind of memory they’ll talk about for years.

Why We Love Student Groups

Whether it’s:

  • Girl Scouts learning about natural history and bravery

  • New students visiting Cornell or UB, getting their first glimpse of Western New York

  • Or high schoolers making lifelong memories on a year-end trip

…we’re proud to be part of it.

We don’t just offer tours—we help create the moments that inspire curiosity, independence, and wonder.

Planning a Student Trip? Let’s Talk.

We offer:

  • Flexible group packages

  • Guides who know how to engage students of all ages

  • Safe, fun, educational experiences tailored to your group’s goals

If you’re planning a field trip, orientation, or cross-country adventure, we’d love to welcome you.

To the incredible Girl Scouts from Illinois: you inspired us yesterday. Your joy, your questions, your spirit—it reminded us why we started this in the first place. Come back anytime.

And to every troop, class, or student group thinking about visiting Niagara?

The Falls are waiting. And so are we.
